Packing Lists

Carry-on Only
10 Weeks  3 People  6 Countries 3 Cabin Max Backpacks

Before we discuss packing lists, we should talk a little bit about luggage.  Choose your luggage based on the smallest size that is acceptable for the baggage allowance requirements of the airline on which you are traveling.  Some airlines, like Easy Jet for example, have different carry-on size restrictions based upon their optional fee structures. Airlines change the rules sometimes.  It is advisable to double check with your carrier prior to flying, especially if you are trying to avoid checking any bags.

Some additional thoughts before getting to the lists:
  • Know your style
  • Pack for comfort, not just style

  • Check the weather at your destination for when you are going to be there or look at historic data for the area if a forecast is too far in the future

  •  Be mindful of local customs and mores

  • Bring or wear protective head/eyewear
  • If space allows, bring toys!

  • Have a sense of adventure in your surroundings, no special gear necessary!

Please read posts in the blog relating to what worked for us on specific trips and modifications to suit our travels.
